When I was little, daydreaming, reading, art and fairy tales were my favorite pastimes. I continue to be imaginative, full of whimsy and smiling most of the time. There's nothing like a good belly laugh, well placed chortle or a box of new crayons to make life seem good.

And my personality is reflected in my art. Hopefully my sense of humor, love of color and playful spirit will shine through. My goal is to make beads that make you smile.

I have been beadmaking for over seven years and was the South East Regional Director for the International Society of Glass Beadmakers (ISGB) for two years. It was a blast. I got to know lots of beadmakers here in the South, as well as work with the Board of Directors and many others around the U.S. and other countries.

Prior to that, I was a Co-President of the local Atlanta ISGB Chapter, Southern Flames. I’m still quite involved with it, and am an advisor to their Board. What an honor. This group is fantastic. You can find them at www.southernflames.org

I enjoy teaching private lessons in my studio located in my enclosed sun porch that has windows on three walls. It looks out into my lovely backyard, that has lots of birds at the feeders and birdbath. You’ll notice that I often have birds sitting on my bead people’s hats, or in their hands, (like the garden gnomes), I’m sure it’s because I adore seeing them every day and they inspire me.

Besides beadmaking and teaching, I also make jewelry using my beads, crystals, semi precious stones and other materials. Usually these are custom items, but sometimes I have some in-stock for shows also. Please feel free to ask about them. I love making custom beads too. There is no additional charge, and being a Gemini through and through, the variety and challenge are always welcome.
