I teach private lessons in my home studio in Atlanta, Georgia. If you are from out of town, there is a very reasonably priced hotel nearby.
Once the day(s) and time are decided, both the student and I decide what are the student's priorities, so we can work together on the curriculum. Which sounds a lot fancier than it is, but I truly want to coach, mentor and teach my students what they really want to learn.
If you're a brand new beginning student, then I teach you the basics with an emphasis on safety, materials and basic heat control and shapes. It's a lot of fun. I do ask if you have goals for learning- like you want to use lampwork for jewelry that you make, or something like that. I like to tailor everything to the individual student.
